CONSULTATIONS

We would strongly recommend a consultation as your starting point. For the South African market, Etienne is available from Monday – Saturday from 09:00 – 12:00, @R1,400 per consultation (up to 2 people). Bookings for more than 2 people will be quoted separately as the more people involved, the more time will be required.

FARM ASSESSMENTS

A site visit and Farm Assessment must be undertaken by Etienne before designs and quotes can be done. Land, climate, water source and quality, existing buildings and budgets all play a vital role in the design of an aquaculture facility. A comprehensive report will be provided on the findings of the farm visit.

DESIGNS

There are various approaches to farm designs, depending on the results of the farm assessment. All South African farms must be bio-secure, according to SA laws. For the South African market, the cost of a farm assessment is R7400, and outside South Africa is $420 US per day. All prices exclude travel and accommodation, as required.

TRAINING

Hands-on training will be provided and will be quoted in terms of requirements and location.
